CYCLES Poem Print | 5x7" or 8x10"
This original poem print is a unique look at the seasons of life that bring us closer and closer to ourselves.
TEXT
I’ve spent half my life finding myself over and over again,
Not because I was ever lost
But because I kept moving without my knowing
And I’d wake up realizing I was no longer
At home in my skin,
Only to realize I’d caught myself in the tail end of
Shedding yet another cocoon
When I thought I’d already blossomed into a butterfly.
Life is not one giant cycle, beginning to end.
It’s countless endings and just as many beginnings,
Dizzying with their difference from each other
And each one more me than the last.
