About the Name
There’s a sleepy town tucked deep into the valley in the heart of West Virginia, surrounded by green hills stretching to the sky, fresh river air, and a past that haunts it like a beautiful dream. Many Hamricks have called Webster Springs, West Virginia home since the 1800s, a place that I frequented with my family as a child and the place that I call my heart’s home.
My great-grandmother and so many far beyond in the treasured lines of my family tree were born Hamricks, so it is a very special name in my family. Although I’m not a Hamrick in name, I’m a Hamrick at heart and by blood, with the classic wavy red hair and fair skin.
So welcome to the crossroads of the best of Kacie Fleming. This is me. This is Hamrick Avenue.
