This original poem print is a unique look on the theme of grief and loss, particularly of family.

TEXT

Each branch is so different
But each grows from the same tree,
The same roots,
Under the same sun.

And if but one branch falls,
The whole tree feels it.
After all, each branch owes it existence
To the same breath.
We all gasp.
And all the breezes that blow thereafter
Are one note softer,
For we all hear the slightly different song
With one less note to play.
